which considerations of race, whether overtly or covertly, played into the Brexit campaign and the 2016 vote to leave the EU. UT-Austin's Richard J.

The Metro Detroit Historians' Collegium will hold a virtual meeting at 1 PM on Friday 8 April, when we will hear "Shawarma Poutine: Arab Foodways in the Windsor/Detroit Borderlands" by Dr. Robert Nelson, Head of the Department of History at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. Virtually all North American birder foodways literature focuses on the US Southwest, where an international boundary runs through an ethnic foodway. This research is enormously valuable, but Mexican food in the Southwest does not tell us much about a diasporic border food community.

If you have a particular book in mind, I am willing to consider any book that explores a topic dealing with American history, literature, journalism, or culture.
